Saturday night Karaoke
What do you do when you have nothing else to do on a Saturday night? No, I’m not talking about stalking your ex-girlfriend’s latest beach vacation pictures on Facebook, karaoke of course.
Last night when one of my friends from Denny’s, a cook I will refer to as T-Bone, invited me to a Denver dive bar that seems to be know for it’s Saturday night karaoke showdown. I am still having trouble adapting to the dry mountain air and so I held off on drinking beer, but you wouldn’t know that from my performance of the song “That Thing You Do,” from the 1996 Oscar nominated film.
